I went grocery shopping this morning. It was quiet, and I got some great deals. Cheerios for $0.93 a box, organic baby crackers for $0.39 a box, Kleenex for free... It was a good shopping morning.
But this is what made it an excellent shopping morning...
Micah was napping at home with Daddy. Meg brought her purse because she had her "wallet" with "money" in it, and she wanted to pay! We went to Kroger, where she got to push her own shopping cart around and she got some stickers. Then we stopped at Starbucks where she got some chocolate milk. Finally, we went to Publix - where she got a sprinkle cookie, a balloon, and a ride in the race car shopping cart.
And she was really good the whole time. What a great morning.
