Micah's Four Month Checkup

We had a visit to the doctor yesterday for Micah's four month checkup. It was fun to be out and about on Halloween. Many of the nurses were dressed up, and there was candy (of course). Meg got a special spider from our nurse. I think she must have made them for the patients. It was super cute - made from a pompom, pipe cleaners, and googly eyes. Meg loves it. We went into the grocery store after our appointment where we saw more costumes, a bagpipe player (who played a tune by the seafood counter - sooo cool!), and Plato the Publixaurus!

Back to Micah's appointment... He is definitely growing! He had a few shots - but he recovered quickly since I fed him afterward. Meg was a little distraught by his crying, too. It's sweet how she is so concerned about him.

Micah's four month stats:
Weight: 16 lbs. (75th percentile)
Length: 26 5/8" (90th percentile)
Head Circumference: 17 3/8" (90th percentile)

Actually, I expected Micah to weigh more. He weighs a little less than Meg did at four months, but he's over two inches longer! No wonder he's wearing her 6 month Halloween outfits already!
