Cheekwood and Trains

Today was Bill's last day off for his September rotation in the ER and the last day before his long string of night shifts begins, so we decided to have a family outing.

We went to Cheekwood to check out the "Trains!" exhibit we'd heard about. We live near a lot of railroad tracks, and Meg loves seeing and hearing the trains. She was super excited about the miniature trains we saw today. The setup was smaller than I expected (all in one spot rather than spread out throughout the gardens), but it was very well done.

The weather was perfect. The scarecrow exhibit opens October 1st, but several were already set up, so we got to see some of those as we wandered the grounds. It was a sweet morning together.
